Kenya Safari

Kenya is quite a famous place for its savannah safaris. It is a country that offers you an experience that extends from one extreme to the other. From deserts to snows and forests to open plain, the contrasts are going to leave you awestruck. The metropolis of Nairobi and colorful tribal cultures, there is a lot to see. When it comes to tourism, Kenya is often underestimated. But a single visit would be enough to change anyone’s view about the place. Nairobi National Park:

This park is located only at a distance of 10 minutes from central Nairobi. There is only a small fence separating the city from the park. The tall buildings of Nairobi can be seen from the park. The park is relatively small in area but it accommodates a large variety of wildlife. Wildebeests and zebras are present in a large number. Also it is one of the top rhinoceros sanctuaries.

Samburu National Reserve:

It is a very famous national park located in Northern Kenya. It naturally attracts wildlife because of its landscape. Uaso Nyiro River flows in the park. The park is also very rich in natural vegetation. From forests to grasslands, it offers a very good habitat for animals. If you are a feline fan, this place is a must visit. Big cats like cheetahs, lions and leopards can be seen roaming around. Apart from these wild beasts, elephants, buffalos and hippos are also found in the park. The Uaso Nyiro River contains large number of crocodiles, offering you a chance to observe them in their natural habitat.

Hell’s Gate National Park:

It has its own value among the national parks of Kenya because it is the only wildlife park that allows you to roam around freely without a guide. It is named after a narrow break in the cliffs that once was a pass way for water, supplying the needs of inhabitants of the valley. Apart from the wildlife, it also offers a beautiful natural view consisting of steep cliffs and gorges and basalt columns. It is a home to a variety of wildlife. Some of the most remarkable ones are wild beast such as lions, cheetahs and leopards.

Tsavo National Park:

Tsavo National Park is the largest national park of Kenya and also it is included among the largest wildlife parks of the world. Due to its large size, it is divided into Tsavo west and Tsavo east, each part offering distinct natural beauty. Tsavo west offers breath taking scenery while Tsavo east has more savannah than its western counterpart. If you want to explore nature and observe wildlife in its more natural state with peace and solitude, this place is for you.

Amboseli National Park:

It is located near the border of Tanzania at the bottom of biggest mountain of Africa, Mount Kilimanjoro. It is a relatively small park but it offers you a great chance to observe elephants. Also you can get to meet Maasai people here. Mount Kilimanjoro can also be observed through the park.

Masai Mara National Reserve:

It is among the most popular places to visit in Kenya by the tourists. It is Kenya’s most popular game park, successfully attracting a large number of tourists every year to watch the large population of game. The migration of zebras and wildebeests, known as the great migration, takes place from July to October. A large number of zebras and wildebeests migrates very year from the Serengeti in Tanzania.
