Day Trip to the Sweetwaters Park

An hours drive from Sandai you will find the Ol Pejeta Farm with its large wildlife reserve, called Sweetwaters. Here you can watch elephants, rhinos, zebras, giraffes, hippos and of course a variety of antelope species.

The well-trained rangers can tell you more about the African animals and give you a lot of  valuable additional information.

A special area of the park is dedicated to a group of chimpanzees protected by the Jane Goodall Institution. These primates are not indigenous to Kenya but have mostly been rescued from the Congo where their lives have been threatened.
