Lesatima is the highest peak of the Aberdare Range<\/a>, and the hike to the summit is one of the finest full-day walks in Central Kenya. The trail takes between four and six hours and rewards you with sweeping views over the national park. Along the way, wildlife sightings of elephant, buffalo, and antelope are common. It is also an excellent acclimatisation route for anyone planning to climb Mount Kenya.

Just 25 minutes from the farm lies one of Kenya’s best-kept secrets. Solio is a private conservancy with one of the highest concentrations of both black and white rhino in the country.
